That death chain letter are made 2 years ago, and guess what it says The girls were murdered "In 1993" yet the IM'ing ghost of one of them informs her brother she died "15 years ago." Our calendar says it's 2005, not 2008. So, the little prankster is telling tall tales, and in 1993, IM wasn't invented yet
